Background Wedding Ceremony Music DJ
Your Asian wedding ceremony is an emotional and exciting time, with our unique music we can help this ceremony be more entertaining to your guests. We believe music plays an important role in creating the right atmosphere on the day, so be it the Mandhvo Vidhi, Ganesh Pooja, Kanyadhan or Mangal Pheras, we will play the right music for the right rituals under the mandap. We work with Bride to help her select her entrance song and can even suggest different styles of entering.

Our Unique Gujarati Music
We are not traditional DJ's as we do not perform at Clubs, Parties and Receptions, our ENTIRE music collection is based around the wedding day and its key ceremonies. With the help of poets and songwriters in the UK and in India, we produce our own Gujarati Lagna Geets and Shehnai albums professionally and use these ONLY at the weddings we perform at. These ongoing recording projects enable us to bring higher standards of music to the mandap ceremony. These copyrighted recordings are not available for sale.

Silent Ceremony - Explanation of ceremony by Priest in Gujarati & English

If your Indian ceremony is to be conducted in silence, with the Priest performing the rituals and explaining this to the couple and the audience in Gujarati & English, then we can enhance this service with our own traditional light background music score based around the Priest’s speech. When a specific ritual takes place, we can play the Gujarati wedding ceremony song associated with this to help create and maintain a traditional mood. We call these type of weddings ‘silent weddings’ as the focus is on the ceremony by ALL invited guests and on the Priest as he performs the rituals. Once the relatively short ceremony of approx 90mins has been completed, we then play a selection of Hindi songs and or hindi instrumentals.
See our links page with priests who we work with and who offer this type of ceremony.

Traditional Ceremony

Some communities’ ceremonies are more informal, with guests attending and watching but not necessarily observing silence during the ceremony and the priest only addresses the couple in the Mandap. For this type of wedding, we generally play a mixture of traditional Gujarati wedding songs whilst key rituals are taking place. Once the ceremony has been completed, we then play a selection of Hindi songs and or Hindi instrumentals.
